Did you know that all babies are born with "Greek foot (Morton's Toe)"? 👣
Only some outgrow it. And for others, this feature continues into adulthood. If the big toe does not receive enough load and cannot fully develop, then at some point the growth of the 1st metatarsal bone stops. And it remains shortened.
Why does the big toe not receive the necessary load? One of the reasons is the same inflexible narrow shoes that do not allow it to move fully, shifts it to the side and changes the entire biomechanics of the step.
For the correct formation of the foot, the correct load on all its sections is important. For the correct load, shoes that will not interfere with this are important.
By the way, in addition to the "Greek", there are other non-standard, but quite common foot shapes.

Important reminder 👇🏻
💥Whatever the shape of your foot is, shoes should match the natural shape, while not changing it💥
