HOW TO CORRECTLY TRY ON BAREFOOT SHOES

In the previous post, we talked about how not to get the size wrong when buying barefoot shoes online.

But there are also some nuances when trying them on in a store👇

1️⃣ Assess the degree of their "barefootness".
Barefoot models can and should be tested for flexibility. So don't be shy about bending, crumpling, folding in all directions and "weighing" them in your palm ☺️

2️⃣ Feel the inside of the shoe.
It is important that there are no rough seams or other details that can disrupt your comfort.

3️⃣ If you plan to wear shoes with socks, put them on before trying them on.
❌Just remember: no compression socks/tights. They will immediately ruin your whole "picture"

Take the "right" ones - those that do not squeeze your foot (more about them in this post.

4️⃣ Try on both feet.
We are not symmetrical. Do not hope that "if I fit into the left sneaker, then the right one is ok" 😁

5️⃣ Fix your foot in the shoe as you will do when wearing it.
Lace the laces, fasten the clasps.

6️⃣ Stand up and check if your foot is comfortable:
🔸 wiggle your toes - they should easily spread out like a fan, in no case should they be squeezed or bent;
🔸 stand on your toes - make sure that your foot moves easily and is not "locked in a cage";
🔸 the heel is fixed, but not pinched;
🔸 there is enough space between the foot and the shoe.

7️⃣ Walk, squat, jump.
Any shoes should be tried on in "field conditions". Otherwise, you risk having shoes in your wardrobe that are very comfortable... to sit in

8️⃣ Listen to your feelings.
Are you comfortable? Does the chosen model please both your feet and your eyes? Is there a smile on your face? Congratulations, you have found that perfect pair🤩

Wear them in good health!
