It is preferable that heels, wedges, pointed shoes, etc. are not your main footwear choice. Wearing them for 1-2 hours to a special event is ok. Spending the whole day in stilettos is no-no situation.
And please, do not sit for a long time in high heels. If this is part of your office style, wear elegant shoes, and change them under the table into something more comfortable (you can sit barefoot, if the situation allows ☺️)
And as soon as the opportunity presents itself, "bring your feet back to life" by doing the following: 👇
👣 Do a couple of exercises to "unstick" your toes and restore joint mobility. Pull your toes towards you and away from you, rotate your feet, spread your toes like a fan. Gently stretch your calf muscles.
👣 Massage your feet to relax and restore blood circulation. Using gentle circular motions, go from the heel to each toe.
👣 Arrange a spa day for your feet by making a warm foot bath. Add sea salt or essential oils - this will relieve tension and improve blood circulation.
👣 In the evening, lying on your back, throw your legs up on the wall. You will get rid of swelling and ensure a sound sleep.
We will definitely tell and show interesting exercises for your feet. After all, feet are our foundation. The movement of the whole body depends on how they move. And simple exercises help prevent "sticking" and deformation of toes, calluses and even flat feet.
And please, wear shoes that "respect" your feet. A little about what characteristics it should meet was told in the post How Much is Enough Room for Toes. We promise to touch on the most important questions related to our feet health, activity and longevity in our blog. And if you have questions or want to share your stories/experience - we are happy to see you in the comments 🤗
