WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL FEATURES OF THE FOOT

The human skeleton consists of 205 bones. Of these, 52 (more than a quarter!) are bones of the foot. Additionally, there are numerous nerve endings located there.

Nature has given our feet such ability for a reason. They perform many important functions:

1️ Provide stable support.

2️ Allow the body to absorb shock – to move smoothly rather than hit the surface.

3️ Help with surface traction while walking.

4️ Function as a muscular pump – participate in blood circulation, lymphatic flow, and, consequently, supply the body with oxygen.

Moreover, the foot is one of our sensory organs (not without reason, it has a lot of receptors). This plays a significant role in maintaining the balance and stability of our body.

Now imagine: on average, we take 10,000 steps a day. Even the smallest disruption in the functioning of the foot will be repeated 10,000 times daily. Not only will it be unable to perform its job correctly, but over time, it will disrupt the functioning of the entire body.

Therefore, it is crucial to preserve the natural features of the foot as much as possible. Additionally, the proper functioning of the foot is directly related to the type of footwear we wear.

In this blog, we will discuss extensively how shoes can help or harm our feet and what to do about it. So if you haven't subscribed yet, be sure to do so to not miss out on the most useful information.
